Every horse transport job in Puerto Rico is quoted individually because distance, timing, and horse-specific needs all matter. Here are the factors that go into a typical quote so you know what to expect.
Distance & Route
Short runs around the northwest (Isabela, Aguadilla, Rincón, Aguada) are our most affordable. Longer hauls to San Juan, Ponce, or the east coast involve highway time and are priced accordingly.
Number of Horses
Single horse transfers are our standard. Multi-horse hauls to the same destination are quoted at a reduced per-horse rate since we're already on the road.
Timing & Urgency
Standard scheduling with a few days' notice gets the best rate. Rush jobs, weekend pickups, or airport cargo that needs immediate retrieval are priced with a small premium.
Horse-Specific Needs
First-time travelers, horses that need extra loading patience, or horses with special requirements (bandaging, shipping boots, medications) may require additional handling time.
