This is what the sessions actually look like. Nothing here is a highlight reel. Catch him, walk him, turn him, stop him, do it again.
Training is easy to talk about and hard to fake on camera. These clips are from ordinary working days at Hacienda Los Ponce in Isabela: ground work on a loose rope, a horse getting used to a noisy paper bag, a horse standing still while nothing interesting happens, and riding out past traffic on a public road.
If your horse is in the program you do not have to rely on this page. You get a video of your own horse every week for the four weeks it is here, so you can see each step land rather than take my word for it. The program is $500 for 16 sessions over four weeks, four days a week. How the program works.

One day of work
Boring is what works.
Fifteen minutes with a young horse, nothing cut, then the same horse out on a road with cars going past. That is not luck. It is a lot of slow work at home before anyone ever rides out.
Ground work
Most of it happens before you get on.
A horse that is easy on the ground is easy everywhere else. Leading, standing, noise, and loading up when the job is somewhere else.
The barn
A normal day here.
Nothing fancy. Feeding, playing, turning, stopping, standing around. This is most of the job.

What the program covers.
How much does training cost?
$500 for 16 days of work. Stable and feed are separate. I work your horse four days a week for four weeks. Ground work, manners, listening, then riding. You get a video every week so you can see what changed.
What kind of horses do you take?
Any breed. Young horses that have never been started. Horses coming back after time off. Horses that push, buck, will not stand for the saddle, are scared of your hands, or ignore you. Every horse I own came to me with one of those.
